2 - A Note on Where We Are
Humor me a moment.
In life certain things appear fully
formed.
They catch the eye hyped and glorified.
A favorite child breezing by without
resistance.
However others don't
most do not.
Others learn hardship, struggle, pain.
These others are the ones that will
determine the future because hardship,
struggle, and pain are what forges us and
builds us up,
makes us strong,
makes us ready for the world we are
trying to rediscover from the centuries
of institutionalization of programming
and control.
We all belong together.
We all deserve the tranquility and
happiness that life just takes away.
Damn these leaders that tell you, tell me,
tell us what we can and can't be.
Damn them all.
We had a garden,
simple, fruitful and beautiful.
We had everything we needed,
and we lost our way.
Now is the time to find it.
