It is difficult to tell what is real anymore,
such is the extent that technology and
human imagination distorts the way we
see the world. It draws us to question
ourselves,
to set expectations so unrealistic that
the churn of everyday life constantly
underwhelms.
Refresh,

We are augmented by digital creation
that is leaving us numb to the actual
reality we face.
I am not here to say whether this is
right or wrong, merely that, it is.
Do we embrace this change and continue
our relentless march towards progress,
or is it time to take stock of what we
really are?
Change seems inevitable,
change seems like the only feasible
option;
and yet here we are constantly fighting
against a system seemingly designed to
preserve the position of those luckiest
enough to be there first.
A baton handed down from generation to
generation.
What is the Mikaboshi?
We are an idea,
intelligent minds lurking in the shadows
and we are waiting to show our faces.
I cannot continue simply to preach, to
inform, to lament like this. So substance
must come.
I can speak my truth, my view of the
world we are navigating,
but it is just my truth —
and at some point the truth needs action.
I will proceed from here on out.
